[He is. Honestly not in a good place right now and is just sitting on the ground (as best as he can with his feet stuck) and hugging his knees. It's been a while since he's felt this helpless.
But he does lift his head to peek at the visitor coming to see him. Hi there.]
your visitor is binghe! his expression is fairly neutral, and he glances at bedi for a moment as he approaches, before moving to lean against the side door of the gondola. ]
"The other one"? Please. There's at least someone else that wasn't caught besides myself - not to mention whoever killed Lucilius.
[ which was disgusting and messy! and frankly terrible. no class to that one. ]
I have something here I have to live for. I would have rathered have us all chosen that Foresight character, personally - shame about your bad luck.
I've come to offer you a deal, anyway, so that isn't the point. I'd like to learn more about this demon creature. In exchange - my blade Xin Mo enables me to leap across dimensions and worlds alike. I'll keep an eye out for this... 'Ritsuka', was it? You seemed quite concerned about them.
[He is slightly salty at specifying that. But he's not mad at Binghe for outing him, nor for the fact that he killed. As he had said, it was all just bad luck.]
I'll tell you all that I know, but I don't want for you to travel dimensions looking for Ritsuka. If you're destined to meet, they will find you eventually anyway.
I want you to kill Limbo, or at least ensure that he dies by some means. Direct murder, voted out for execution, whatever you prefer. He cannot leave this place alive. We need to be on equal footing when we go back to the Throne of Heroes if I am to protect my Master.
You have my word as a Knight of the Round Table. I will not breathe a single word of this to anyone.
[Even if people here don't actually know about the Knights of the Round Table, maybe the intent will get across.]
I don't know much about him specifically, as he is from a future I have not experienced yet. But we are both Servants, and I know some about what he is capable of because of that.
In our world, notable heroes don't go to the afterlife when they die. They ascend to a place called 'the Throne of Heroes', where they linger and wait to be summoned by powerful mages. When a mage summons them, they form a contract and are bound to that mage. The contract lasts until either the Master or the Servant dies. Once the Servant dies, they go back to the Throne of Heroes, but they do not retain their memories of their time while summoned.
This is why it's important for Limbo to die: if he dies and returns to the Throne of Heroes, he will not remember anything of this place. And thus he will not remember our conversations about Master Ritsuka. I don't know how much he knows about them in our world, but my hope is that he will have forgotten them entirely by returning to the Throne of Heroes.
I will forget my Master, but Master's memories of me will not be erased.
Limbo is of the Caster class. Casters are good at magic, which is lucky for you since magic isn't working here. If he had his magic he would probably be a formidable opponent. The trade-off is that Casters are physically weak and usually depend on others to make up for their weak points. It looks like he already has some allies too, so catching him alone might be difficult. But if you manage it, you can likely win.
I don't know his true name, but if you can learn it then you can learn his strengths and weaknesses. All Heroic Spirits have a legend, and that legend dictates what they can do in a fight. For example, I am known as the 'Knight of the Silver Arm', which is why I retain this arm as a Servant. But Limbo isn't going by his true mane, so you might have to find it out another way.
Physical strength is a forte of mine. I'd prefer to have my magic, but I don't need anything more than brute force. [ a beat, and then a huff of a laugh. ] Funny, that someone implied no one but a monster could rip off someone's arm.
[
WHEW
anyway. he say that so casually. horrifying. ] That's useful enough information. I'll keep it in mind.
[Bedivere is starting to wonder if this is a person he should even be talking to.]
Huh. I thought they must have approached everyone who killed this week.
Well, they came to me earlier in the week, and they offered me milk and cookies. They also allowed me to ask three questions, but unfortunately I think I wasted one of them.
From the moment that demon approached me, I started to get colder and colder, and hungrier and hungrier. I didn't take the cookies right away, I tried asking first. But with each passing moment I came closer to death, and eventually I couldn't hold out any longer and I had to eat.
Whatever was in those cookies, I haven't felt cold since that moment. The reason I kept fumbling things was because of the injury on my wrist, it made my fingers numb.
